  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained


  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, bell peppers, garlic, and cajun seasoning. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, white wine, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook until opaque, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the parsley and serve.
